Ello Artists, Friends and Strangers!

My name is Ash Golden. Call me Ash, Golden or Crazy. Many years ago I played with Photography but never thought of it as being a career... My passion had always been to be a Herpetologist but I was fooling myself. I was a Marine who was Stationed in Okinawa, Japan and loved every minute of it... The Asian Culture has always been fascinating to me. I was in Art Masters for 4 Years and can work with other mediums besides a Camera but rarely do I venture that way anymore. A year ago I enrolled into getting my Bachelors Art Degree and still have 2 years left. I found a passion and new interest in Photography and find myself amazed that I took this unexpected path. I am glad I did. Even though I am still highly Amateur... I really hope you all enjoy my Captures. I still have a long way to go and much more to learn and any Constructive Criticism is Welcomed. I focus on Nature, Old Dilapidated Buildings / Vehicles and oddities. I just hope someday I can see my work in National Geographic but for a wish so large... I know I need to always push myself and set myself apart from all the other Camera's in this World. Anyway, I love rock, techno, cooking Asian dishes, hiking, camping, exploring and too many other things... that might bore you. My love is Budgie and he is a huge character... so if you love birds... check him out. ^_^
